Kristína Uhráková

I’m Kristína Uhráková, a graphic designer, typographic artist, printer and cyclist. I work with type, paper and print — mostly letterpress, sometimes giclée, always with an obsession for the physical. Pressink started in Bratislava in 2016 as a letterpress studio. Since then, it has grown into a place where graphic design, typography and the things I’m curious about become printed objects. Cycling is one of those things. Long roads, unfamiliar places, mountains, distance, changing light. The things I see and experience on the bike inevitably find their way back into the work. Sometimes as a print. Sometimes as an idea. Sometimes as something I haven't figured out yet. Pressink is where those things meet.
